Health Needs Assessment
The Health Needs Assessment which has been carried out by Bridgend County Borough Council and Public Health Wales for the Health, Social Care and Well Being Partnership provides the evidential basis for the Health, Social Care and Well Being Strategy 2011-2014. Chapter 1 and 2 contains the introduction and improving the health of the population of Bridgend.
Chapter 3 and Chapter 3a looks at the area of Bridgend.
Chapter 4 looks at lifestyle factors.
Chapter 5 looks at specific population groups and Chapter 6 contains the conclusions.
Health, Social Care and Well-being Strategy
Bridgend County Borough Council and Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board worked closely with partners and in consultation with many groups and the public to produce the Health Social Care and Well-Being Strategy 20011-14 for the people and communities of Bridgend County Borough. The main purpose of the strategy is to achieve the shared goal of improving people's lives by improving their health, social care and well-being.
